Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling: The Miami Owner’s Guide
A Caesarstone kitchen remodel in Miami typically runs $16,520 – $53,100 installed, depending on slab count, edge profiles, and how much of the existing kitchen has to come out first. If you’re reading this, you probably have a Caesarstone countertop that’s cracked, chipped, stained past the point of resurfacing, or a seam that’s opened up and started catching water. We stock Caesarstone-compatible materials and install full kitchen remodels with the countertop work handled in-house, so you’re not coordinating three different crews.
Most Miami owners discover the failure the same way: a hairline crack near the sink cutout that widens after a cold snap, or a seam that’s pulling apart because the cabinets underneath settled in the humidity. Concrete high-rises in Brickell shift more than people expect, and quartz doesn’t flex. When it goes, it goes visibly.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

This page covers full kitchen remodels built around Caesarstone quartz surfaces across their current catalog: the Classico, Supernatural, Metropolitan, and Outdoor Collection lines. Each line has different thicknesses and edge tolerance, and that matters more than most Miami homeowners realize. Classico slabs typically run 2cm or 3cm thick. Supernatural runs 2cm or 3cm as well but with a wider color range, and the Outdoor Collection is engineered differently for UV exposure, which matters on a Miami patio kitchen that gets 300-plus days of sun.
The compatibility gotcha: older Caesarstone slabs from before roughly 2015 were poured at a slightly different resin ratio, and color matching a 10-year-old slab with a new cut from the same named color is not always dead-on. If you bought the original slab locally, we can pull the batch number off the underside if it’s still readable, and match from the same run when the supplier still has it. If not, expect a slight tone shift at the seam. As for OEM versus aftermarket: Caesarstone doesn’t sell “parts” in the traditional sense. The slab is the part. What you’re buying is material plus fabrication plus install. We use genuine Caesarstone slabs from authorized Miami distributors. Aftermarket isn’t really a thing for the surface itself. Where aftermarket does apply is the supporting hardware: sink clips, seam adhesive, and edging profiles. We stock mid-grade and premium options for all three, and we tell you which one your job actually needs before you pay for it.

Signs Your Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Hairline crack radiating from the sink or cooktop cutout. This is the number one failure we see in Miami. Quartz expands and contracts with temperature swings, and the inside corners of a cutout are the stress concentration point. Once it starts, water gets in and the crack darkens.
- Seam separation at the joint. If your seam was filled with polyester adhesive and the cabinets beneath settled (common in older Miami homes with wood framing that swells in summer humidity), the seam opens a millimeter or two. You’ll feel it with a fingernail before you see it.
- Dull spots or etching that won’t polish out. Caesarstone markets itself as non-porous, and it mostly is, but aggressive cleaners like oven degreaser or undiluted bleach will haze the surface permanently. If a polish compound doesn’t bring it back, the damage is in the top layer.
- Chipped edge on the overhang. Usually from a pot or pan hitting the front edge. Caesarstone edges are machined, and once a chip takes out the profile, you can’t just glue it back invisible. The fix is re-edging or replacing the run.
- Water staining around the faucet base. If the hole was drilled without enough clearance or the silicone seal has failed, water wicks under the deck and darkens the slab from below. You’ll see a gray shadow around the fixture that doesn’t dry out.
Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Caesarstone kitchen remodel in Miami runs $16,520 – $53,100 installed. A smaller galley kitchen with a single slab, standard edge, and existing cabinet reuse lands near the bottom. A larger open-plan kitchen with an island, waterfall edges, multiple slabs, and full cabinet replacement lands at the top. Countertop installation alone runs $2,360 – $7,670, and backsplash installation $945 – $2,950 if you’re doing the surfaces only and keeping the rest of the kitchen intact.
What’s included: material, templating (we laser-measure on site), fabrication, delivery, install, seam adhesive, sink cutout, faucet holes, and the edge profile you pick. What drives the price up: waterfall panels, mitered edges, large islands that need two slabs, and any structural work under the cabinets. We don’t change the number after we start unless you change the scope. The written price you approve is the price you pay, and the work carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing.

You can safely check a few things yourself: run a fingernail along the seam to feel for separation, look for darkening around the faucet, and check the underside for a batch label. What you should not do is try to glue a cracked quartz slab back together or grind out a seam. Quartz is 90-plus percent stone by weight. A slab weighs roughly 20 pounds per square foot, and when a seam bond fails, that weight can shift. Removing or moving a slab without the right suction rig and support framing is how people lose fingers and worse. We’ve also seen DIY seam repairs where the homeowner used epoxy from a big-box store that yellowed within a month in Miami sun.

FAQs

Fifteen to twenty-five years is realistic for a properly installed Caesarstone slab in Miami, assuming you avoid direct heat contact and don’t use abrasive or acidic cleaners. The bigger variable here is the cabinet structure underneath. In humidity-affected Miami homes, cabinet settlement can stress the slab and shorten that lifespan at the seam locations before the stone itself fails.
Some damage can be repaired, some cannot. Hairline cracks away from cutouts can sometimes be filled with color-matched resin and sanded flat, but the repair is rarely invisible. Seam separation is usually repairable with a re-bond and re-polish. Chips on the edge can be filled but will always have a slight visible line. A crack running through a sink cutout corner is a replace situation, not a repair one. Call (850) 801-8046 and we’ll give you an honest read before quoting anything.
Most full kitchen remodels with Caesarstone surfaces take three to six weeks from demo to final walkthrough, depending on cabinet lead times and whether we’re moving plumbing or electrical. Countertop-only replacement is faster: template one week, fabricate one week, install in a day. We give you the timeline in writing before the first tool comes out, and Lucas sends photo updates at each stage so you’re not wondering what happened this week.
We source from authorized Caesarstone distributors in the Miami area, which means we can pull availability on specific colors and get slabs on site within days, not months. We do not warehouse slabs ourselves, but we maintain relationships with distributors who do. We also work with KraftMaid for cabinetry, and Cambria and Silestone if you want to compare quartz options before committing to Caesarstone.
