ViewLux Kitchen Remodeling: The Miami Owner’s Guide
If you own a ViewLux kitchen and a component has failed, we install ViewLux-compatible kitchen remodeling in Miami for $16,520 to $53,100, depending on scope, materials, and the condition of what’s already in place. Most ViewLux cabinet, drawer, hinge, or hardware replacements can be matched and installed within one to two visits once we identify the exact part. The way owners usually find us: a soft-close drawer starts slamming, a hinge shears, a cabinet face delaminates from humidity, or a pull-out ladder rack stops retracting.
ViewLux cabinetry is built around modular European-style hardware, which means the failure is rarely the cabinet box itself. It’s the moving part attached to it: the hinge, the slide, the lift mechanism, or the connecting hardware. Those parts are replaceable. You don’t need a full kitchen gut to fix a drawer. You need the right part, identified correctly, installed so it doesn’t fail again in Miami’s humidity. That’s the work we do.
Which ViewLux Models This Applies To

ViewLux produces frameless and face-frame cabinet lines sold through builder and renovation channels, and the parts differ between those two construction types. If you’re looking at a hinge, the critical measurement is the cup size: ViewLux frameless lines typically use a 35mm cup bore, while some face-frame lines step down to a 26mm cup. Ordering the wrong cup size is the most common mistake we see, and it’s an expensive one because the door gets drilled and now you’ve got two problems.
Your best move before calling anyone: open a cabinet door and look at the hinge. You’ll often find a manufacturer stamp, a part number, or at minimum a brand mark on the hinge arm or the cup itself. Write down every number you see. For drawer slides, pull the drawer to full extension and read the stamp on the side rail. That number is your part’s fingerprint.
On OEM versus aftermarket: ViewLux hinges and slides are sourced from the same European hardware manufacturers used across the cabinet industry, names like Blum, Grass, and Salice. In many cases, the exact replacement is available as the hardware brand’s stock part rather than a “ViewLux-branded” part, at a lower price, with identical specs. We’ll tell you when that’s true and when it isn’t. If a genuine ViewLux-spec part is the only correct answer, we’ll quote that and explain why.
Sawyer Remodel Miami is an independent contractor. We are not affiliated with ViewLux, and we don’t represent ourselves as their service arm. We stock and install the parts, and we know the product line well enough to tell you what’s what.

Signs Your ViewLux Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Soft-close drawers closing hard or bouncing back. The damper inside the slide has worn or the catch hook has snapped. It’s a $15 to $45 part in most cases, but ignoring it means the drawer eventually slams hard enough to crack the drawer box front.
- Cabinet door dropping or rubbing against the frame. The hinge arm has bent or the screw anchors have stripped out of the particleboard. In Miami humidity, particleboard screw holes soften faster than you’d think, and retightening the same screw just widens the hole.
- Laminate or veneer peeling at the lower cabinet edges. This is moisture wicking up from the floor or from repeated sink-area splashing. The fix is usually a door or panel replacement, plus correcting whatever water source caused it, or you’ll replace the same panel again in two years.
- Pull-out trash bins or tray dividers sticking mid-roll. The ball bearings in the under-mount slide have corroded or gummed. Coastal air is brutal on bearing grease. Some slides can be cleaned and re-lubed; most, once they grind, need replacement.
- Wall cabinet pulling away from the wall at the top corner. This isn’t a hinge problem. The cabinet screw anchor has failed behind the drywall, and the cabinet is now hanging on fewer anchors than it was installed with. Call a pro before it drops.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Let’s put real numbers on this. Full ViewLux kitchen remodeling in Miami runs $16,520 to $53,100. That’s the wide range because a kitchen remodel can mean replacing hardware and refacing boxes at the low end, or gutting to the studs and rebuilding with new ViewLux-compatible cabinetry, counters, and backsplash at the top.
For the parts-focused jobs this page is about:
- Hinge replacement (per hinge, installed): typically $25 to $65 each, including the part and labor when done alongside other work.
- Drawer slide replacement (per drawer): $45 to $120 installed, depending on slide length and weight rating.
- Single cabinet door replacement (ViewLux-matched): $120 to $350 installed, depending on door size and finish matching.
- Pull-out mechanism replacement (trash bin, tray divider, corner carousel): $180 to $500 installed, depending on the mechanism.
- Cabinet re-boxing or partial refacing: starts around $4,720 and rises with scope. That’s the low end of our cabinet installation range.
Every quote is written, line-itemed, and in your hands before a single tool comes off the truck. That’s The Relay Standard: who’s coming, when they arrive, what it costs, and photo updates before and after. It’s not an upgrade. It’s how every job runs.
DIY or Call Us?
You can check a lot yourself before you call. Read the stamp on the hinge or slide. Measure the overlay (the amount the door overlaps the cabinet opening), because that’s what determines which hinge geometry you need. Take photos of the label, the part, and the damage. The more information you have, the faster our quote is.
What we’d rather you not do: drilling into cabinet boxes to “try a new hole,” bending hinge arms with pliers, or forcing a slide back on its track when it’s clearly sheared. The worst cases we see are DIY hinge swaps where the cup bore got drilled too deep, blew through the door face, and now the homeowner has a hole through a $200 door. Miami humidity also means any new screw hole you drill into particleboard without the right anchor becomes a failure point within a year. If the part involves a gas spring or a heavy lift mechanism, leave it alone. Those things release hard.
If you’ve identified the part and just need it installed clean, call us at (850) 801-8046. We’ll match it, price it, and schedule it. Good work doesn’t need a sales pitch.
FAQs

In Miami’s climate, ViewLux hinges and slides typically last 10 to 15 years before showing wear, but coastal humidity and heavy daily use can cut that to 7 to 10 years on drawer slides. Soft-close mechanisms usually fail before the mounting hardware does.
Sometimes yes, usually no. Bearing-corroded slides and snapped dampers cannot be meaningfully repaired and should be replaced. A stripped screw anchor can be redrilled and fitted with a proper insert, and that repair genuinely holds. We’ll tell you which one you have.
Most single-part replacements take 30 to 60 minutes on site once we’re there, and multi-drawer or whole-cabinet jobs are a half-day to a full day. What takes time is matching the exact part before we arrive, which is why we ask for photos and stamped numbers first.
We carry the most common ViewLux-compatible items in the truck: 35mm soft-close hinges, 450mm and 500mm drawer slides, and common lift mechanisms. Odd sizes and finish-matched doors we order before we schedule, so the job is one visit, not three. We also stock parts compatible with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone kitchens.
No. The written price you approve is the price on the invoice. If we find something unexpected behind the cabinet, we stop, show you photos, and get your sign-off before any additional work happens. No surprises at the end.
Call (850) 801-8046 for a free estimate. We’ll identify the part, give you a written price for the install, and schedule it on a live arrival time you can track from your phone.
