Tremron Bathroom Remodeling: The Miami Owner’s Guide

We install and build around Tremron products throughout Miami, and the work typically runs $10,620 to $33,040 for a full Tremron bathroom remodel. That range covers tear-out, waterproofing, tile or paver installation, fixture fitting, and finish work. Most Miami homeowners call us after a Tremron paver surface in a shower pan or bathroom floor has shifted, cracked, or started holding water where it shouldn’t. You notice the grout line darkening near the drain, or a paver rocks underfoot when you step on it. That’s the moment to get eyes on it before water works into the subfloor.

We’re an independent Miami remodeling contractor, not affiliated with Tremron. We work with their products because they’re built for Florida’s climate, and we know how they behave when installed correctly and when they fail.

Which Tremron Products This Applies To

Tremron’s paver lines show up in Miami bathrooms more than most people expect. We see their tumbled concrete pavers used as shower floors, bathroom flooring, and accent walls. The key identification detail is on the back or underside of the paver: Tremron stamps a product code and a batch date. The stamp tells us the specific series, whether it’s from their Olde Towne, Travertine, or Holland lines, and that matters because each line has a different thickness and surface texture.

For Miami bathroom work, the compatibility gotcha is thickness. Tremron pavers run anywhere from 1.5 to 2.25 inches thick depending on the line. That changes how much mud bed or backer board we need underneath, and it changes how we slope the floor toward the drain. If a previous contractor set the pavers on an unmodified mortar bed over a concrete slab without a bonded waterproofing layer, the floor looks fine for a few years and then the grout starts crumbling. We stock Tremron-compatible replacement pavers from their current Florida production runs, and we can match color and texture from their standard palette. OEM pavers are what we recommend for visible surfaces. Aftermarket equivalents exist, but in a wet bathroom environment, the color batch and texture consistency of a Tremron OEM paver is worth the small price difference. If you see a three-digit batch code on the paver, take a photo of it before you call.

Signs Your Tremron Bathroom Surface Is Failing

  • Grout crumbling at the drain line. Water is pooling and working through the joints. In Miami’s humidity, that moisture never fully dries, so the grout stays compromised and keeps breaking out.
  • A paver rocks when you step on it. That’s a bond failure underneath, usually from a thin or unmodified setting bed. A rocking paver will crack within months if left alone.
  • Dark, damp spots that don’t go away. Water has saturated the paver or the setting bed. Tremron pavers are dense, but Florida’s wet season pushes any bathroom into constant moisture exposure.
  • Efflorescence, that white chalky buildup, keeps returning after you clean it. It means water is wicking through the bed and pulling minerals up through the paver. Cleaning it off treats the symptom, not the leak.
  • A smell you can’t place near the shower or toilet base. That’s the signature of water trapped under the surface. By the time you smell it, the subfloor underneath is already getting soft.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A powder room with botanical wallpaper and a stone sink

For a Tremron bathroom remodel in Miami, our installed work ranges from $10,620 to $33,040. A smaller bathroom with a paver shower floor, a single vanity, and standard waterproofing sits at the lower end. A full bathroom tear-out with a walk-in Tremron shower, accent wall, custom drain placement, and new fixtures pushes toward the top.

Every project includes a written line-item price before we start. You’ll see the exact cost of materials, labor, waterproofing, and finish work. No change orders appear at the end unless you ask us to add scope. Our installs are covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it’s not done right, we make it right, backed in writing. The waterproofing underneath the Tremron pavers matters more than the pavers themselves, so we use bonded sheet membranes and slope the bed properly before a single paver goes down. In Miami bathrooms, that waterproofing layer is the difference between a floor that lasts twenty years and a floor that fails in three.

DIY or Call Us?

You can safely check the visible signs: rock the pavers, run your hand over the grout lines, note any dark spots. You should not pull up a paver yourself in a bathroom that’s still in use. A cracked or loose paver in a shower floor usually means the membrane underneath has already been compromised, and prying at it without opening the whole bed just breaks the seal further. We’ve seen Miami homeowners turn a two-thousand-dollar repair into a full subfloor replacement by pulling at the wrong paver on a Saturday afternoon.

If you’re seeing any of the signs above, call us before you grab a hammer. Luca Romano and the crew will tell you over the phone whether it sounds like a simple reset or a full re-slope. The number is (850) 801-8046. Good work doesn’t need a sales pitch.
